Boot Care:

REAL Australia™ sheepskin boots have been dyed using the latest techniques and utmost care but please be aware that darker colours can   transfer colour onto clothing or furniture especially if wet. We recommend that you protect your new boots with water and stain repellant.
  Do not dry-clean!

Fitting you boots for the first time:

Place boots on the floor and slip foot into the boot with care. Your boots should feel comfortably snug or tight but not uncomfortable as good   quality sheepskin will mould to the shape of your foot as you wear them in.

What if they get Wet?:

If your boots do get wet do not dry in direct sunlight or close to heaters. Our REAL sheepskin boots are resilient to the basic elements but if   they do get very wet you need to let them dry in a shaded area away from the sun and rain. The outside of the sheepskin boot is a soft   leather and is not waterproofed when you receive them, so they won't withstand the harsh elements of heavy rain and snow for very long.
We recommend using waterproofing spray can help protect the boots from rain and snow. The first time this coating is applied should   ideally be when the footwear is new.

Always dry you sheepskin footwear out of direct sunlight and not in direct artificial heat.

Caring for your Sheepskin Boots:

Your sheepskin Boots are not waterproof so you will need to waterproof them. Waterproofing your sheepskin boots will protect your boots   from cooking oil, dirt or water and increase their life. The first time this coating is applied should ideally be when the footwear is new.

Lightly brush in one direction with a very soft bristle suede brush to enhance natural nappa look. We recommend you do not wear your   Sheepskin Footwear in Snow, Ice or Heavy Rain. With general respect for your sheepskin footwear you will enjoy a long and happy   partnership in comfort.

How do I handle stain removal, cleaning and repairs?:

   Never put into washing machine!

Removing the stains
If you have a grease stain on your footwear, use a razor or sharp knife to scrub some powder from a white chalk over the stain, leave it for a   few minutes. Then blow away the access chalk and with your hand, gently rub the stain. Repeat this a few times until the stain has almost   disappeared. For extremely tough stains you can gently rub the stain with sandpaper but beware that this may take the colour away.

Removing Rain Spots
Sometimes you can get what we call "spotting" where the footwear have come into contact with a few drops of water. You can usually   eliminate this by folding the footwear onto itself, that is skin against skin, and gently rub it together.
